Before we talk about the Magic of Giving specifically, let me tell you a little bit about me and why I can help you.

I have been a professional educational entertainer for over 25 years. I have performed for the Children's Museum, Taste of Minnesota, Landmark Center, the Minnesota Zoo, KARE 11 News and even the Mall of America. I know how to entertain families and it is my full-time profession.

I have been involved in fund-raising when I worked as a director of education for a local Twin Cities church. I know and have learned through practical experience how to use a specialty form of entertainment to raise money.

As owner of my own small business, I am an expert on marketing events to make them very successful. I know the channels to use which will promote your event and get the coverage you need to gain the " recognition edge ".

And finally, I don't take my job lightly. I will give you superior customer service and walk you through the process so that this program will run smooth. I know how frustrating it can be coordinating a fund-raising program and the hassles involved.There are many options out there for fund-raising...But I have never seen anything as complete as my program!

I have assembled a fundraiser like no other-yes it includes an Information manual, but it is SO MUCH MORE. It is called, "the MAGIC OF GIVING" but you might think of it as a fund-raising consultant in a box. Because this is so different than any other fundraiser out there it may be a little difficult to explain but here goes.


There are 5 main ingredients to the Magic of Giving program - let me quickly explain each one of them:


MAGIC OF GIVING INGREDIENT #1

THE SHOW The focal point of this fund-raiser is a family based magic show. This show is 90 minutes in length with a 20 minute intermission. This show is a high energy, laugh filled, interactive magic show that will entertain preschoolers to adults. In addition, to a number of fun filled routines such as, turning a child into a rabbit and mind reading dentures (yes, you read that right), it also includes 3 larger illusions that students are actively involved with.

During the 20 minute intermission is a great time to sell refreshments and other items to raise additional funds for your group.
Please remember, that this show comes with over 30 years of personal performing experience, top notch references and a long list of performing credits such as: the Mall of America, the Taste of Minnesota, Landmark Center, the Minnesota Zoo, hundreds of schools and libraries as well as an appearance on KARE 11 & FOX 9 morning news program. Children love magic and so do adults! This show will be an easy sell when you get a chance to see the supporting materials that will be made available to you in the startup manual.

MAGIC OF GIVING INGREDIENT #2

THE SPECTACULAR MAGIC RALLY 
Included in the fee for this performance is what I like to call the Spectacular Magic Rally. This consist of a pre show warm-up for the group to motivate them to sell tickets to the upcoming full-length show. The pre show warm-up is about 15 minutes in length and gets the kids up for the “big Show” in about a month. During the course of this magic rally you will tie in the other ingredients that follow.

MAGIC OF GIVING INGREDIENT #3

THE SPECIAL STUDENT MOTIVATORS 
Included in this program are a number of items to award to the top ticket sellers. Prize # 1 one is a complete Brian Richards Magic set. Prize #2 is a videotaped magic lesson. Prize # 3 is a trick deck of cards with instructions for over 15 different tricks. In addition to these wonderful prizes, the top 3 sellers get to be the assistant in two of my larger effects, the Harry Houdini escape and the Vanishing Head.

THE COMMUNITY CONTESTS
Have you ever heard of the “kiss a pig” contest? Well, that interesting contest is one that I have adapted for the “Magic of Giving”. The details are explained in my manual, but suffice it to say this is an outrageous contest that will get the community interested and involved.

THE MAGIC RAFFLE
Included in the cost of this package is a raffle that can be offered in the weeks prior to the show. Items raffled off include: An in person magic lesson from yours truly, a Brian Richards beginning magic set, a Magic Lesson video and any other items that the community may donate to the cause.
